Mount Insignia?

Ok so it looks like for me three toons they need to upgrade their insignia - they are mostly orange.

I have some pretty good gear, 10 mounts, 10 comps all at mythic, all mythic enchants so this looks liek my next best move.

So what is the best way to upgrade insignia please?

Auction House for Mythics? [Looks expensive] or purchasing insignia to refine into powder?

Insignia powder is probably one of the more annoying ressources to get in neverwinter. If you have a lot of tradebars you can buy epic insignias in the tradebar store for 100 tradebars each. The appointment events are also a good source because you can get legendary insignias with the challenge token. With the new mod you can also get legendary insignias from the reaper store and powder with a weekly campaign task.

As for buying vs. upgrading it depends on the type of insignia. Some are better to buy and some are better to upgrade yourself.

Or you can collect powder over time from skill nodes, drops and rewards. It"s cheaper, but takes a lot longer.
Insignia drop from lockboxes too, so sometimes the prices go down when everyone is opening...

Hi, my strategy was upgrading to legendary with powder, but only insignia that are not bound to be able to sellor trade them on my way to 70-75k item level. All bound insignia were instantly turned to dust.
Since I'm on to upgrade them to mythic I save up AD to buy the ones I want / need and pulverize the replaced legendary ones. That way I get one mythic every 20-30 days (need pretty expensive ones) and can upgrade another maybe every 40 days, depending on drop rates mainly of rare and epic ones.
Slow, but steady and I think somewhat efficient, too.

In addition, various event crafting/grinding give box/bag and insignia can be dropped. Yes, one needs to do 'full scale' grinding in those to get significant amount of powder which is the side reward of the main reward anyway.

Since they've added leg insignias to the Reaper Store (a wonderful move), I've decided to pause using my daily Reapers to get comp upgrade tokens for all my alts and instead get one insignia every 5 days and use them for powder. 250 each time. On my 2 mainly used characters they are almost all leg with only one mythic on each one so this will be a great help.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.
