Lower Menzoberranzan Sigil Cost For Boons

Completing the Eye of Odran tasks for boons in the Menzoberranzan campaign requires far too many Menzoberranzan Elite Sigils 300/500. Especially when you have multiple characters to grind for these boons. Sigil costs for boons should be more in line with Bregan armor pieces at 100/125. With mod 26 around the corner, there may be less players doing lockdowns to get these sigils.

Possibly, though there are still players running dragons (Mod 23) which is currently two, soon to be 3 mods back.

The cost of campaign keys has an “ecosystem” attached to it. Reducing the cost of keys potentially >>> reduces the amount of time players spend in the zone >>> reduces the amount of available players to complete heroic encounters, quests, etc. >>> players will probably then be complaining that they can’t complete content because there’s no one around to help…

The same can go for those boons though also not saying the sigil cost is or isn't high. Personally see the increasing sigil cost simply as a time gate being that capping the weekly haul can take around an hour or so which isn't necessarily that long depending on the player. The higher sigil yielding encounters are a group effort anyway so the more players available at any given time the more help players have available to them to get sigils faster (even when it comes to the "soloable" elites which take more or less time depending on your class, stats and if you have help).

Maybe an increasing reduction (to a extent) in boon requirement cost per character on the account that completes these newer type campaign tasks?

    For example:

Character 1 completes 1/4 boon tasks
Character 2 > has the Menzoberranzan Elite Sigil cost reduced by X % > completes 1/4 boon tasks
Character 3 > has the Menzoberranzan Elite Sigil cost reduced by Y % > completes 1/4 boon tasks
Character 4 > has the Menzoberranzan Elite Sigil cost reduced by Z % > completes 1/4 boon tasks
    . . . . .
Character "X" [at some point the reduction in cost will cap out, possibly equal to the number of classes available in the game (which currently is 9), so after 9/x characters on an account (regardless of class) complete boon task 1/4, completing it on additional characters will not increase the material cost reduction further. Completing 2/4 boon tasks the first time on any character starts the cost reduction for that task (1/9 if the number of classes is the cap), so forth and so on for boon tasks 3/4 and 4/4].

Some sort of cost reduction system would be great, as I have 9 toons. I can’t imagine players with more… I’ve been playing since mod 6, and have always gotten all the campaign boons on all characters with decent time and effort. Menzoberranzan is the first campaign that is an uphill battle.
