Dear developers,
I wish for...
- 3 new mounts - all with 4-slot insignias that offers normal / improved Gladiator's Glide.

- Randomize startup loading screen (not just the red dragon)

- Next patch to have 5 player end game dungeons instead of 10. I seek for higher challenge but raid teams have their timings and I wasn't
able to join due to a different timezone.

- Healer's sense of belonging
I used to be a strong healer in the past with a golden pup to hit 90% outgoing heal, power and crit. But today everybody demand I use tutor / drizzit and other DPS related buff and boss debuff. Though my role is support, I wish to find back that dignity where my healing build can help others overcome a difficult dungeon. Today healers get blamed if they did not equip any DPS buff. I wish healers can have something that is all about healing and it can make a difference in games.

I'm also worried that a meta rat race can defeat Neverwinter's potential. Everyone's asking for Mastered Weapon / Raptor and those without them have less chance to be invited to end game. Though I have obtain them, I feel a meta play is not the right solution to mmorpg. Wish developers can introduce new concept and things to allow everyone to build their custom and unique characters and not rely on a meta.

    The last time this happened the Band of Air got nerfed.

    Looking at the newest trial I don't think that type of content has a place in Neverwinter. I've never seen less action for endgame content and for good reason. The trial is neither well designed, nor fun to play. It's just hard. And the worst is, it's item level and not skill capped. It's fine, but the population and demand just isn't there. I'm just glad the rewards aren't THAT great so I'm not forced to find a regular group to run this pita.

    I think VoS was a great example of how to do it. The bosses required skill and coordination, and dps / item level helped, but lower level teams could still beat the dungeon if they played the mechanics perfectly. That's not the case in ToS, because every boss has some sort of timer and dps check involved, and certainly neither in Demo, CoK, or GR. I totally share the demand of difficult content, but if you can only put out so many dungeons and trials per year, it has to include more tiers of players, especially if you plan to hand out bis items as rewards.

    There will always be a meta and elitism. But everyone asking for MW / Raptor is a direct consequence of bad dungeon and trial design.

    It's a very rigid box they're all squeezing themselves into. And once u build yourself around that model, ur kind of stuck relying on other people who all have to do the same exact thing for it to work and if u can't find them u can't play, it's self-pretty limiting.

    I mean that's what loadouts are for. Also not sure how it is with other classes, but on my current main dps/tank/heal I actually need to do very little gear / enchant shuffling to switch between Raptor and self-capped builds. Even switching between GR/ToS/General loadouts requires very little extra farming for specific gear beyond the specific campaign pieces.

    I'm glad ur happy doing it, good luck to u. I like the gear I have and not interested in farming more. I also like the companions I already have and have ranked to mythic, not interested in doing it again to fit a certain criteria others have set.

    edit: and for my healer, I've created a build which heals really well (have maxed outgoing heal for instance) and am proud of my build which I took care and time over to create, similarly to what Irene says in her OG post, I'm not comfortable with ripping all that apart and making myself less effective in my healing role just to build-up other people's dps. I'm sure there are others who are happy to do that, but I'm not one of them.

    You're taking it to personally. There's definitely elitism but also ignorance on the other side of the spectrum. I get having worked for a build and then realizing it's not meeting the meta sucks. And I've repeatedly stated that the dungeon and trial design is most to blame for this development.

    But with MW/Rap, it's really only a small adjustment AND not only benefits the party but your build as well. I think this is the wrong hill to die on, although I definitely feel your sentiment.

    See the issue here something like this .... MC and Raptor works and they work very well. Raptor is the only companion equip bonus which can give you 19% stats. Masterwork weapons help the entire team and its a reliable boost with 100% uptime. I understand that it is the meta and it's the meta only because it works so well. Healers right now can cap all their stats and still equip debuff neck-belt-arti sets to help the team.

    And Raptor is something which you can obtain by just playing the game from your Reapers store. And for masterwork, you don't need the fey weapons, the chultan ones are just fine and work excellent (you don't need the +1 variants either and are very much obtainable by just saving ad). In this game where Cryptic constantly changes things around, where half the things you worked on get devalued constantly. These two are a one and done thing, a welcome respite that whatever else changes these won't. Remember when you ask for nerfs that there maybe no alternatives for these and even if alternatives are created, those alternatives won't be as accessible as raptor+mc is for most of the playerbase.

    You guys sound like recruiters for some kind of cult. Also bear in mind that even raptors and masterwork weapons can be changed and/or nerfed at any stage, they're not a done-and-dusted thing at all, like anything in the game, nothing is safe from the devs tinkering with it when they find players are using it more than other things. The raptor could have easily been nerfed in the recent changes to all companions, its just pure luck it wasn't.

    Maybe we're all cultists. Because I can't seem to see the difference. Folks are upset about others dictating their build while trying to force others to play with less effectiveness themselves (and even lobbying for a nerf just because one disagrees... jeez). There are different players with different approaches, and I'm sure people will find more casual and like-minded folks to play with even without a Raptor or MW. The meta always assembles groups faster, simply because it's the most effective way to grind the content. If you want to get into groups asap roll a tank or healer with proper group utility. It is what it is.

    I just find it funny that the countermovement is often more radical. Always fondly remember the legit channel in which you couldn't even post links to YouTube videos that may contain comments which may or may not link to other sites that may or may not have posts about exploits or bugs. It was glorious hyperbole and always fun to mess with those snobs.

    I've been around a while and i'm ok with change and evolution. What i don't much like is that there's now one path, one goal, one weapon set, one armour set, rules for everything, BIS everything and we, the players, have become an army of clones.

    Wish for the 2 vendors to be moved into a more obvious trade place.
    Doesn't make sense for them to stand randomly in the town.
    Tiring to keep running to the RC vendor at the rear.

    You better go in there and soak up the atmosphere because you can be sure that it won't be too long before they stop people going in there altogether or turn it into something else.

    I wish for:
    A gold taking barber in PE or reduced tower costs. A simple hairstyle change should not be 200k.
    GWFs to be able to deal damage and Sentinels to be able to do more damage since lacking team utilities.
    GFs to have their shift fixed or be changed into a parry which would be incredibly unique while reusing animations we already have.

    Dear Irene, I've already had a few opportunities to play with you and I know how satisfying that is, as your healing is insanely good.

    I won't comment on mw+rap since I'm a cultist xd.

    About this intrusion on choices that should be personal like forcing healer's and tank's to be buff's and debuff's also bothers me a lot. Yes, the content is difficult and with buffs and debuffs there is a certain advantage, but the dps could also help themselves instead of charging impossible things for certain characters. One day I entered a mtos with 3 dps wizards using companion enhancement precision and politely asked them to change it to debuffs since in the first boss it is practically impossible for me to tank using armor break, everyone ignored me and told me that this was a tank role and I simply replied that my role was to tank and I dropped out of that group. DPS has a very big ego, in their world there is a dispute about who will be the top dps instead of looking at the final objective which is to open the chests after killing the last boss.

    Totally agree, which is why I believe the leaderboards at the end of such content should be removed completely.

    if we are talking about classes that need reworks, GWF sentinel needs a major overhaul. I main this class and with power creep it is becoming very hard to keep agro.

    archers and rogues for some reason seem to be especially prone to grabbing agro.

    I'm defiantly not meta at all. I build based on my own wants and what fits my characters idc what anyone else is doing or wants me to do, if you're not under the VAL alliance eff off. /dnd and block exists for a reason. screaming at me like a Karen won't do any good. and yes this has happened to me before.

    Auron, just out of curiosity, have you tried using the Dread Warrior bonus to see if it solves or alleviates this problem?

    As I have suggested in the past, and we now have the chance to have a dungeon key drop,(Which I thank you for!)I would like to see an occasional lock box key drop from dungeon chests. That would make it more of a "free" game. Also Can we PLEASE not have anything that cannot be deleted or sold???? Please!!! The Horsey mounts that cannot be sold or discarded are just bag fillers. It would be nice to see some sort of armor/outfit designing contest where u can have creative people make armor or fashion. The winners outfit could be put into the game? So much can be done with drops...Tired of Blackened armor drops and the other major repeated gear drop...

    I still like your idea where you previously suggested a few more changes to how Dungeons, at least played out a little more. You previously had some good idea's there for customizing how Dungeon's played out.

    Right now the biggest challenge to Dungeon's however is related to Queue times, mostly because the type of dungeon (advanced & normal) +skirmish & trial being offered into 4 separate categories. It be better if it were just 2 classifications.

    Really limits Queue times because you have 4 independent and separate Queue timers for each; it's too bad they couldn't rethink it so it was more combined.

    In Star Trek Online their Queue times often only go about 30-60 seconds at most. Because there they don't have 4 separate queues each independent but singular for all. We'd not be able to get to 1, yet we could get to 2 quite easily.

    Random Dungeons should include Advanced Dungeons, then any could be chosen and make it more Random. It still wouldn't prevent you from queuing specifically. The next logical choice would be to combine Random Trial & Skirmish into the next set; then allow you do 2 of each. If they tried to fill 1 Trial or Skirmish 50% of the time based on RNG, then it also balance out how or what you got too. Yet that require NEW Logic to decide. It's easy to do but would require a change, and many might not like it takes away the choice.

    Yet I dislike the WAIT the most, cause often you have to schedule your own full group just to pop a random Queue except Skirmish. Something I hope they consider, combine the 4 categories into just 2 categories. Nobody likes having to always coordinate organizing a queue with healers, tanks, and all players every time you just want to play.

    I wish for...

    1. To be able to claim/reclaim earned account-wide Foundry rewards at the Reward Claims Agent. This strikes me as a pure data migration issue and should be an easy lift for Cryptic. They just need to migrate the right data from the Foundry database to the current one.

    2. A tiger team at Cryptic with one job: come up with an internal tool that can convert stored Foundry quests into static quests that their current quest engine can run. This wouldn't re-release the Foundry but it would make existing quests available again. Then they could be made available to players either on demand or during select events. As a software engineer of over 30 years experience it strikes me as another data migration issue. Run the tool once per quest and then store each quest alongside all other current quests. As their internal format gets updated from time to time, so would the converted Foundry quests.

    Wish for punching bag

    - It has slowly become a trend where people will teleport to training room and gain AP before boss fight
    - Zen store item : A punching bag with kael's face on it
    - has high HP
    - Able to summon once every 15 mins for 1 min
    - Hitting it gives AP
