Can't Complete Sharandar, Part Two

In the quest To Hades and Back, the penultimate milestone quest in Part 2 of Sharandar, there seems to be a bug at the end of Mathilda Soulstealer's lair.

After shattering the six soul cylinders, Mathilda summons King Thurduin. Unfortunately, he arrives dead. A message comes up that seems to say there was a success achieved, but it does not trigger Mathilda's final attack. She stands at the throne, spectral, and impossible to engage.

Please let me know if there is something I could be doing to get around this bug.

Thank you - or perhaps disregard? I returned after a couple hours and attempted this quest for a third time. This time, I had the same experience as with all my previous characters. Thurduin appeared, undead, and I was able to defeat him, then Mathilda, and then complete the quest. Part Two of Sharandar is done on this character. Thank you for an enjoyable game!
