Question re: "Companion Equipment Choice Pack" in new Battle Pass

In the new Precipice of War Battlepass there is an item listed as "Companion Equipment Choice Pack" which lists it as "Bind on Pickup (Character)." Does that mean the actual items inside BoC or the Pack itself does.

The reason I ask is that I usually use my main toon for these events BUT as, and with most people I suspect, if you have got to this event you probably already have better companion equipment slotted so I like to use these packs for my alts. It's a total waste of time for me to grind that out with my main (or even buy the pass with Zen) if the character I use can't use it.

The pack is Bind on Pick (Character) for sure. The content is currently unknown. The chance is it is also BtC. If it is BoA, I consider that as a 'bonus'. Since you plan to give it to an alt, let the alt pick it up. This is an account wide event, every character within the account can participate and that includes doing the 'grind' and picking up reward.

i.e. use the main to 'grind'. Use the alt to pick up reward.
If you don't know which alt should have it, don't pick it up until you do.
