Workshop help from Support.

I had a real problem making the crafted potion of power in my workshop for ages, wrote more than a few tickets about it, because with all the failures I was lucky if I made one a day. Plastic Bat told me about the profiency (thank you again if you are reading this Plastic Bat) which I didn't know about and told me about how the tools were important. I made a cobalt alembric, got the highest profiency alchemist I could find, only 347 I think he is, but I can make the wintergreen oil, and potion everytime now. It would have saved an awful lot of frustration if Support could have told me that, instead they said it was a variable and would fail every so often, which is really not totally true-only if your profiency is low and your using a bronze alembric +1 is it going to do that. I never even noticed the profiency of an artisan only the discount they gave. Just a thought that this would improve help a lot.

As soon as a character reaches a certain level in professions or gathering, I check to see on the Auction House if there is a better tool for them to use for that level. They're usually all for sale on the Auction House as other people make them in their professions and you're helping out other players and the economy by buying them and yourself by having more than enough stats for whatever task you're doing at the time. They're not that expensive to buy either.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

Do you think it is worth it to go from level 3 to four?

    Of course.

Workshop 4 : 30 slots in the delivery box, up to 29 artisans, you can also recruit epic artisans (once in a while).

That was the whole point, if you chase something, then sometimes you never get it. uh huh if you put forth to work and all the attitude, next you know it's bestowed upon you." -- Michael Jordan
