My idea to improve WK Disheartening strike

I have mainned WK for around 4 years, so i kind of know it's strengths and weaknesses. One is Disheartening strike, it's okay but being a WK you don't get invited to many run due to being a WK, people prefer Assassin for the damage output. So a little idea for Disheartening strike.

Keep what it has already intact, however add "each tick of DoT has a 50% chance increase your damage by 1.5%(Max stack 10)". This give WK some much needed damage without simple buffing magnitudes(which i find less creative).

When you look at Assassin it has so much damage from it's feats it's ridiculous!. I tried Assassin for the first time a few days ago to see what all the fuss was about, first thing i tried was Dualists Flurry... boy i was shocked!, i thought "wait, this is their at-will!... it's so powerful", i was melting mobs and mini bosses!. Going back to my WK Shuriken Toss was heartbreaking lol. I've played WK for so long now i can't change, i chose WK years ago and i am good with WK, but sometimes even a lazy assassin can out do me purely because of it's feats etc and not because of skill.

    Before mod 16 attempted to make two classes out of each existing class, Duelist's Flurry was a core power of Rogue along with Sly Flourish and Cloud of Steel. Master Infiltrator got Gloaming Cut and Whisperknife got Disheartening Strike. In the early days of the game DH was actually a beast of an at-will due to the damage it did overall, but over time it got relatively worse because mobs tended not to last very long. What has always killed WK was the fact that its Class Features weren't as good as the other path, of course, but at one time it did have decent at-wills.

    Ah thanks for the NW knowledge, that's interesting. I have some good ideas that i believe are doable to help WK, it's just hoping the devs take on board our suggestions. I still use DH along with Shuriken as my mains, it's the best option, shame it's not that great. My idea for DH would give WK a bit of a buff. An idea for Shuriken toss could be something like "if stealthed has a chance to pierce target causing the target to take 3% more damage from you(or in general)/or cause a bleed dot/or lower their attack damage by x amount" etc.

    Impact shot i like, but the stealth effect is meh, the stealth effect should be moved to the basic attack(this would help groups a tiny bit with mobs, very tiny bit) and something different should be added if stealthed.
    Remove Vengeance's Pursuit(vp) completely, relace it with something useful that would rivel Lashing Blade for WK players. In actual dungeons VP is not used by any WK players unless it's messing around on low dungeons, even then i have never in my life seen it used by anyone. It's not viable in actual group content. The rest of the encounters are good imo.

    No do not remove VP. I used to think like you but I have change my tune. Learn how to use it. Aside from Hateful Knives, VP and Shadow Strike are a WK's most important encounter/daily. I have adapted. Lashing Blade was what I used to use but it is now obsolete for me (unless doing a ST boss and could use VP, SS and LB, though i prefer keeping Blitz). One of the reasons I made this adaption was that once your critical severity is at or near cap the lashing stealth bonus is useless. Another reason is that VP does not initially remove stealth for the first strike, such that you can go VP, SS, VP and maximize damage. (SS adds damage to your stealthed ST VP attack).

    What I do need is some protecting from myself. In say tiamat I use my VP and teleport right off the ledge. Codg same thing.
    Teleporting is nice but not when the boss is hanging over a big drop. If the game could slight modify the teleport for these scenarios so that I dont fall over ledges that be great!
