I can't count the times I have been in the middle of a run and waiting for an arti to cooldown so I can swap loadouts from AOE to BOSS or vice versa, I wait for the cooldown and think I've swapped loadouts, but find that it is still on the same one and never changed. It's because the sound for swapping loadouts is the same for a successful change as it is for a failed one and you hear it and think it's worked. I was in a LoMM run just now and at the final boss I waited for the cooldown to finish and the moment it ticked down I swapped it over and went into the fight, only thing was I was still in AOE. The sounds makes you think it's changed when it didn't and in the heat of the battle or in a rushed run, you hear it and subconsciously think it's worked. It's that metal echoey whooshing sound.
Might I suggest a new alert sound for a failed loadout change which is different to the sound we have at the moment, so we know every time without having to check everything manually that it's actually happened or it didn't and that we need to do it again. Having the same sound for a good change and one which doesn't occur is kind of silly anyway.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.
