Seals vendor sells unusable gear, wastes player's seals

Background: The seals vendor has an option for you to buy equipment for other classes, which was account-bound, letting you buy equipment on one character with seals, for use on another character.
Problem: Currently, unlike before, armor available this way is bound to *character* on pickup. It cannot be transferred to a different character that can use it. I've wasted seals being surprised this way, as have other players. It's not a pleasant feeling.

Lets hope with new mod devs will lift this one time restriction.
Also woulde be nice to have seals to rad exchange for both dragon and north seals

You can exchange north seal to rAD already. In Misc tab.



If they follow their practice, dragon seal will allow exchange to rAD when it is replaced by newer seal.

I think they forgot to update the seal vendor in PE.

The seal vendor in VIP does not allow buying gear for another class.

It's been like this for a long time (I've been playing 2-3 years?). I don't remember ever being able to buy gear for another class from VIP seal vendor, whereas I've always been able to do it (and receive account-bound gear) from the PE seal vendor, until recently.

Before they did the major deletion of Tower Dist, Rothe Valley and the rest etc, I heard someone say about the special gear that came from seal vendors and people were reminding others to go check-in their seals before it was all gone. Wise. So I did and one of the areas I had to turn in seals was Rothe Valley, I lucked-out and got a special spider armor, but it's for another class and I can't use it, and it's bound to character. So this type of thing has been an issue for apparently a very long time, where you get bound class-specific gear you can't use and can't swap over to an alt on another class.

Yeah that was with bounty currency from the various zones. Bound-to-character class specific gear on the wrong class has indeed been an issue for a long time. The transmute weapons from Bel are another example. This occurrence of it in the seals vendor, however is new.

If they follow their practice, the boon points in the current campaign would be obtainable only for two MODs. (those require dragon seals - and all seals used to be obtainable just for two MODs)

The fact that players can look at equipment for other classes at the Seals Trader from the Protector’s Enclave but these items are “Binds on Pickup (Character)” is a known issue. I will add in the report that the trader summoned from the VIP system does not display this at all and escalate it again to the team.

Dragon seals will downgrade to lower tier seals in a few mods but then stay at that level for a few more before being removed.
