Suggestions for new artifacts

Hello,

As an artifact and consumables collector, i enjoy getting fun and new artifacts, along with good animations and gameplay. Here are some suggestions.

Idea 1

I think this game deserves more explosives. They do exist in the game (like pirate king's cove dungeon has an explosive barrel) but they are very scarce.

How about this : Llira's Cracker Final - to obtain with an update on Liira's event

You drop, or throw, a series of a few big crackers, infused with Llira's energy. When the crackers fuse is ignited, mobs will flee from them untill they explode (up to players to bring them close). When the crackers detonate, they deal major fire damage in AOE, throw small mobs away and taunt mobs 100 meter around.

So these crackers could be used as repellant, attractant, or damage dealer with a light cc depending on what's on the player's mind. Teamplay would allow for other kinds of uses like optimizing their damage, or in combination with cc skills.

Idea 2 : Torm's banishing labyrinth trap - obtainable in an enchanted chest - idea coming from baldur's gate 2 labyrinth spell and same rogue ability

When used, the player drops a magical trap on the ground. After 3 seconds it arms, after which the next mob to step on it, if it is small or medium sized, will get trapped in another dimension's labyrinth it has to evade from, disappearing from view and separated from combat. Small mobs are trapped for 20 seconds on mythic rank, medium mobs for 15 seconds and bosses laying foot on it will receive a debuff reducing their attack speed by up to 15% (cannot be stacked) for 10 seconds. Players are trapped for 8 seconds in pvp.

Idea 3 : Moradin's Bottomless Bag - obtainable in enchanted chests

When this artifact is used, the bag spews encumbering furniture around the player's position. These big items hinder movement working like obstacles and can be destroyed. Their health and duration vary depending on the artifact's rank, from 50k health at rank 1 and 5 seconds duration to 400k health each and 20 seconds. The number of obstacles increase from 1 to 5 with artifact rank. They are the size of a small table, a grandfather's clock, big chairs, stone columns etc this kind of things. Their appearance is randomnly picked from a given pool.

Thank you for your attention,

Wendy

Artifacts used to be top of the line items, more powerful and most useful of almost any other pick up item,,, Now not so much with standard gear often having better stats than artifact items. As difficult as it is to actually get artifact items perhaps consider once again making them more desirable/useful.
