in Xbox Test Shard
Will there.be a set schedule for test server updates, once things start rolling?

    it's not whenever they feel like it, it'll be when they have a beta testing ready build to put out for us. Will probably be after alpha testing has confirmed it's stable.

    It is still they feel like it. i.e. they feel they are ready. The preview server will be updated all the time whenever they "feel like it" to give you a "they think it is" stable version for testing. When they feel like it, they can update it everyday and they did that for PC preview server in the past.

    Generally, though not always, I think they do mention when preview shard is getting new bits for example. At least I remember seeing that for PC mimic server.

    Yes but there is no "set schedule" OP asked for. When they are ready and/or feel like it, they may tell you day/days before it will be updated.
