Weird lighting in Mycelial Depths

In the Mycelial Depths from the quest "Decent into the Depths", the lighting is really weird. In the first area, everything seems to be equally brightly lit, no darkness or shadows:

Then when you progress into the next area that connects the caves to the dungeon, it looks like this (in my opinion how it's supposed to be):

And right when you enter the dungeon after the miniboss, the lighting is really dark:

As a personal note, the lighting in the entire Northdark Reaches feels too bright. The ceiling is illuminated by an unknown global light source, which destroys the atmosphere. If the background would be darker the glowing mushrooms would visually pop out more. I always assumed the Underdark to be, well, dark...

ToS is very similar with "singular" color ("everything equally brightly lit, no darkness or shadows") as you say.
╘ It claims the lights & postprocessing disabled in Lighting 2.0/Dynamic Lighting, yet NOT true everywhere else!

Note: This is also similar for ToS Dungeon as redone, so I believe it's likely similar cause?

Lately I had impression that the guy in charge of visual effects and lighting has a serious eyesight defect.
And worse, he wishes we all had such a defect...
What he did with the lighting and graphic effects in general is a real horror.
I have already reported visual bugs, but as they were, so they are.

@strathkin I can toggle the "Postprocessing" as well as the "Dynamic lighting" options while in Northdark or ToS:

I'm using a GTX 1080 Ti with Driver version 522.25 if that information should be useful in any way.

I've known several who only while in Northdark have Postprocessing to Disabled, same with Max lights per object (greyed) out.

Everywhere else those are both enabled just fine.

I did notice that aside from recycling the Undermountain Master Expedition map (badly), the lighting is also dreadful. I've commented on it here: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1266497/recycled-map-in-new-mod-really
The textures and lighting in the depths quest remind me somewhat of some of the 'New' Sharandar maps which I thought at the time it came out was extremely badly built and badly designed in so many ways, I have a gut feeling the same builder/designer did the depths quest, or at least part of it, it's got their fingerprints all over it. If different areas have vastly different lighting schemes and do not match, it is entirely possible they are all building remotely and there are multiple people working on different areas of the maps who are not communicating with each other and that whoever is in charge of putting them all together and approving them is either clueless or it's not being quality-checked thoroughly enough.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

So i did some testing with a friend and we found out that the graphics settings seemed to be somehow internally broken...
When i clicked the "Use Sliders" button in the "Graphics" settings it fixed itself.
For comparison here is a screenshot of Northdark Reaches before the "reset":

And here after clicking the "Use Sliders" button:

This also fixed the lighting in the main menu (character selection), they were really dark before and now everything looks perfectly fine. I didn't test this in character creation before i used that button, but maybe someone can check if that fixes this issue as well: https://account.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1266494/new-lighting-system-ruins-character-creation

    Edit:
Just did the "Decent into the Depths" quest again and the lighting is fixed there too:
