The treasure chest in the guild fortress is very slow

The treasure chest in the guild fortress, where you deposit influence and vouchers, is extremely slow for some of my characters. Sometimes it takes up to a minute to switch to the next item in the list of the treasure drawer. Even multiple clicks don't speed it up. My main character has the worst problem. There I could no longer scroll through the list when donating the profession items. So I transferred or sold all profession items to a guild member to clear the list and see if the problem persists. It still does.
My guess is that the chars (which are my oldest) are carrying some things (currency, items, companions, or whatever) that were once patched from the game, but these are still there and the processing and recognition of these things take a long time. But to be fair I have no idea why this is the case with these chars.
A guild member in my guild where my chars are is also having this problem. Even with just a few of the characters. And also the older characters.
I have to add that it sometimes happens that these chars can also use the treasure drawer with normal speed. However, this is usually only a short time window after a patch, as far as I could observe. But this didn't happen with the last patch. It is still so slow, that my main char is currently not able to spend something in the chest, since i am not able to access the menu items.
If anyone knows what to do to fix this: I'm happy to try everything possible with my chars. If anyone needs more information to give helpful tips, just let me know. I will try and make available what I can.
