I claimed Omen of Despair mount on character who didn't own a Black Unicorn yet. The Vortex of Despair was 600 magnitude! I then claimed the Black Unicorn and the Vortex of Despair dropped down to 400 magnitude.
So long story short, there is a buggy interaction between Black Unicorn and Omen of Despair.
