The lore for Gerg'mal (Mind Flayer) didn't show up until I had also killed Zarkoxor (Glabrezu)
I was keeping track to get the achievement on a character and the only way to know what you've done is by looking at the lore. After killing the mind flayer, nothing popped up and no lore was recorded. After killing the demon, both lore showed up and the lore pop up was for Gerg'mal.
