Free Braelin Janquay

The part of the main quest "The doors of Neirt Elamshin", when I get there, the door to Braelin's cage door is already open and he is cheering, but I cannot interact with him at this time. Is there a chance I opened this cage door before I even got the quest, and now it remains open and wont let me interact with Braelin? Cannot continue main story line of this quest.

    So, I had previously tried different instances and abandoned quest etc, but found the cage door open in the other instances I tried. This time I was in an instance where I could see that the cage door was closed, got the quest and was able to free Braelin Janquay, so others be aware that the cage needs to be closed before you can interact and continue quest.

    From Brett Norton:

    We are aware of an issue with the quest The Doors of Neirt Elamshin (Free Braelin Janquay). A fix will require a patch, which is targeted for next week.

    The only potential workaround (unconfirmed) is to find an instance on which the steps have not yet been triggered.

    We are working to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible, and apologize for the trouble.

    yeah no dice for me either, cant find instance that is not untouched.

    next week fixed? Unexceptable. So we cant progress unless we get lucky for another week. HOT GARBAGE.

    This supossed work around is nonsense. Ive been switching instances for 4 hours with no joy. Next week is too late because we'll be a week behind.

    Is this ever going to be fixed? Going on 15 months as of this post and still persists.
