Unable to see useful items in inventory

Having multiple endgame toons. I created a new warlock for the recruitment event. Upon reaching lvl 20 and unlocking all my dungeon unlocks I also received a taroka card from ravenloft initiating that tutorial. The green tutorial message will not go away or continue through the tutorial. The message block view of all useful items a character has so I cannot see things like the enhanced resonator from undermountain etc.... The tutorial will not continue no matter how may times I press x. I have even tried collecting more cards in barovia. Not sure how to fix this one.

Someone on Xbox had the same issue and they solved it by getting a fishing pole in SOMI, I think. You actually just need to have one item in the upper row so you can scroll down. In theory, any item will do the trick.
