Can PVP at least have its leaderboard back ?

Neverwinter has PVP but no one plays it because there is no rewards no point

So in order to try revive PVP can we at least PLEASE have the leaderboard back ?

Why was it taken down anyway ?

    They took it down because some abused each toon being able to place on the leaderboard. If they had made it account based, for your best toon being the only one to get on leaderboard/rewards, it would be fine.

    That's not really true. He abused the rewards-system, not the leaderboard. Before added rewards, we had an active community just bc we had a leaderboard where we could track our progress and effectivness. Now it's not in the slightest competitive. So, yeah, bring back leaderboard without rewards pls!

    You can't have a legitimate leaderboard when Soul Shield, just like Soulforged, doesn't count as deaths and kills.

    Kills don't matter. Win/Lose-ratio is the only thing that determines your placement.

    simple solution to "fixing" PvP would be:
    1 - everybody has the same standard gear with the same ilvl, so only class meta counts.
    2 - only cosmetic rewards. very good ones.

    because, i agree, i don't want to fight against an unkillable GF with soul shield

    Several people misused the ability for each toon to rank on the leaderboard, thus they removed it. That would have been good if they had made it account-based so that only your best toon appeared on the leaderboard or received awards.

    There is no world PVP in this game. There are only 2 places in the game that can do 'public' PVP in open area. They are in Icewind Pass and Dwarven Valley. You 'activate' it by entering the 'restricted' area. However, that does not mean you can find an opponent who wants to do PVP.

    When PVP had a bigger player base it was the best gameplay and what was enjoyed most by so many players

    It would be so wonderful if one mod could be dedicated to bringing PVP back to the game

    in order to accommodate more players just create a itm lvl base where players get scaled up or down to level the playing field to some extent and make it more fun for everybody

    Dont understand why such a big and fun component of the game is just left to die

    Its very sad cause the combat system is really complimentary to pvp gameplay
