Fey Wolf disappeared

I am trying to the fetch quest in the well of dragons but the Wolf will no longer spawn. I am on 5/6. He goes to one location then disappears there is no option to dig up that location.

    the questgiver should have a option to resummon wolf; diggin will take time cuz of its old design, wolf will stop to howl, then the ground will be interactive, but still u can get nothin, so it ends will lot of runin around there; u might try to chage instance during your run if u stuck. Also watch for HE spawning near.

    The wolf stays with you in limited time. If your wolf is gone, go back to the quest giver to get a new one as mentioned.

    This is the same for the potion quest (different quest). If you could not deliver the potion within the time limit, you need to go back to the quest giver to get the quest and then get the potion and then deliver the portion.
