Excesive mounts, companions and collars exchange vendor - idea

Ok, here is a problem: there are times when game rewards us with mounts, companions or collars. Be it within battle passes or campaigns or promo things or even the newest gifts from jubilee event. Those are mostly bound to character or account and as such if someone already has the same companion, mount or collar, that person is most likely forced to just discard such drop/gift. It's not that bad for account-bound stuff, but character bound lands in the bin most of the time.
So I'd like to propose a solution to this. An Exchange Vendor located somewhere in Protector's Enclave. That vendor would exchange the excesive bound companions, mounts and collars for 1/5 (or 1/10) of the value needed to upgrade them from the previous quality level in the form of:
- companion upgrade tokens for companions,
- mount upgrade tokens for mounts,
- insignia dust for collars.
For example let's take legendary companion. Cost to upgrade from epic to legendary is 120 tokens and as such: 120/5=24 (or 120/10=12) tokens returned.
To prevent potential abuse I think only epic or higher quality level should be exchangeable in case of companions or mounts. Collars could be exchanged starting from at least rare quality.
