Ascendancy's End quest: Gyrion doesn't transition when yellow HP is brought to zero

He's supposed to transition to a new phase where he has a blue HP bar, but nothing is happening. Screenshot below.

EDIT: I used "defeat me" and reran the fight and it worked properly that time. There's still a bug lurking in there somewhere, though.

    That fight has always been buggy. It's possible that he has the same issue that Nostura and Morlanth have where certain forms of CC break their AI and sequencing. Morlanth is especially bad. I have had to repeat that fight numerous times on characters trying to avoid all forms of CC. Nostura only ever bugged for when I had a character using Elemental Air Cultist.

    When the bug hits, they don't phase as normal but go to zero HP and just do nothing.

    Yes, that bug has been there for a long time. I experienced that once long long long time ago.
