After returning, from a 2 year absence... ...rough diamonds far harder to earn!

I know some like doing Siege, for the chance to trade in 4 participation for a box of 50,000 Unrefined Diamonds; yet you could spend 4-8 hours to get 2 more participation. I used to enjoy doing it for vouchers, yet they drop far too infrequent now. I know many also don't even like running Dungeons any more, or even Adv Dungeons as queue times far worse than I recall.

While doing the event turning in each Mission can award (2,500-10,000) I'd say that's nice for sure! Yet just a bit disincentivized to stay their long, given the vouchers. I've also heard many saying it (sometimes) can take 4-8 hours, just to earn two addition participation. Yet if your doing it for the 50,000 rough Diamonds that's a bit extreme waste of time; be far wiser to do Random's if you can get them to Queue.

So I've been trying to earn rough Diamonds mostly doing Random Skirms, Random Dungeons, and yes even Random Adv Dungeons. The later (rarely) sometimes might give you something worth the effort for the time. Still it's only the first Random Adv. Dungeon that gives 34,000; then you need 11 more Dungeons or Skirms, though it will reduce to 4-5 other runs with rough Diamonds from chests...

What I find surprising is how long sometimes it takes for Random Skirms, or even Random Dungeons to Queue. I've even seen it on occasions to take up to an hour or more. :(

That seems extremely Disheartening given the rewards for vast majority of Skirms are lackluster, as are Dungeons, and only a few Adv. Dungeons are decent.

I've heard with next MOD they may be improving some of the rewards for doing Advanced Dungeons. Maybe it's possible they are improving rewards in dungeons, and skirmishes as well to improve queue times; Random Skirms / Dungeon's could give 5, or 10 North Seals depending on difficulty. :*

    Next Module, releasing June 14th, is redistributing the rAD rewards from random queues, you'll earn 12k from Skirmish, 30k from Dungeons, 25k for Trials (lower than now) and I think 40k for Adv Dungeons. You are going to see less people run Trials (especially with harder trials going into the queue) and more queueing for Dungeons. These AD amounts are in addition to any chests and bonus rAD, and yes better rewards in those chests.

    I presume from Dungeons you mean Random Adv. Dungeons, so what will Random Dungeon's give?

    Random Adv Dungeon gives 34k and the 2 chests if you open them both gives around 15-20k. Random Trial gives 34k too and if you complete it you can get more from end chest, the biggest of them all is Svardborg if you have all keys. If you complete those 2 it should cover 80-90% of the dailies RAD refinement. It will reach 100k + if you queue as role bonus.

    The long waiting time on queue is because tank and healer is a minority, and many player prefer to make a premade group instead doing it solo on random queue.

    I listed both adv dungeons and regular dungeons. Regular dungeons are getting a massive boost to rAD.

    Random Adv Dungeon gives 34k and the 2 chests if you open them both gives around 15-20k.     The amount per run won't change. I don't see how you can equate that to giving out less.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    This shows the new Random Trial amount, it's 25k rAD. On live it's 39,100 rAD

    I was referring to this comment. The amount per run won't change. Speed has nothing to do with the payout. You don't get more or less because a run takes longer than you'd like, or is shorter compared to the average.

    The devs lowered the amount because on average trials don't take as long as dungeons do. I never said it was based on individual run timers.

    I tend not to que so my raw AD is fairly low. Most of my Ad comes from Vallenhas Juma bags, Vallenhas Bel, Ravenloft wanted posters, Undermountain Master expansions. Dreadring, ToD, IWD, & maze engine weekly quest. Using campaign store and stronghold to trade in camapign currency and guild marks for AD . I also run Travels Treasure as my mount bonus. I stopped the event once i hit 14 days but the 50k chest is ok and Sybella's store does sell the 50K AD booster. Mostly I'm playing to complete content not really playing to cap my daily AD but little by little it added up. If your character hasn't completed the adventure zones the one time reward for each toon does add additional raw AD.

    This game lost a lot of endgame players so... It's harder to earn rads in random games right now. Well, if you're lucky enough to get into one. Scaling doesn't help too. Today we finished pug CODG with two tanks and just one dps. Before that, we failed codg (not same party). Cryptic should remove scaling right now.There is no point to play 75K ilvl toon scaled down with idk 23K ilvl party. They can't do much and "you're" restricted. It just takes more time than it should. So higher ilvl players just avoid pug games...
