Rough Astral Diamond Cap?

I got a red error message saying I reached the rough astral diamond cap and that I could get more in 9 hours and 58 minutes. I had just finished Spellplague Caverns (RADQ) and I only got 4,600 AD instead of the 40k+ I was suppose to get. It was my 1st RADQ of the day! I had run RTQ, RSQ and many RDQ as well as many many dragons in the siege of Neverwinter.

No one in my alliance seems to understand why this happened. Is this a bug or intended?

    IIRC you can only get 80k rAD/day from the random queues. You can still earn AD from chests and the dungeon/trial itself.
