Punishment for "disconnected" on random queue

Since there are no consequences for deliberately disconected on a dungeon a lot of people abuse this to leave instances without penaltties. This happen alot on random queue, for a dungeon/trial/skirmishes that they think its "hard" or seeing a new player notice, or other reason,

I am aware there are non deliberate disconected too, but, we cant just leave this situation as it is. Because this will ruin alot of people experience and especially for new player that need help or guidance.

I understand most people want a smooth run, and there are way for that, they can do a premade group for that.

Leaving before the run is done by any means usually trips the Leaver Penalty.

there is another even easier solution that I use myself when queueing solo which is to not run randoms at all.

I still do 1 trial and 1 skirmish per day because those have a high success rates for me when queueing solo and I want the seals for that but other than that I do not bother with it.

Although, the campaign thingy with the earning of the 4K points did get me to do RDQ until I got the 4K points and then I stopped after that.

During that time I had no noticeable problems with RDQ although the ones I got it did not really matter what the rest of the group did until you got to the end so that may have been a factor.

Is the OP trying to say there are no penalties for disconnecting while in a queue instance? I've had legit disconnects where I've come back to the leaver penalty, so...

That is strange. After seeing your comment I test it again, I deliberately log off on a RADQ. About 6 minute after I log in back, and I got no penalties.

Guess it just works differently for others! So far I have only gotten it when I am first to abandon and that no longer happens because I no longer do that unless everyone else does first. Excludes the manycoins though as I will either abandon right away or do the circle and then abandon.

So, did they nerf the penalty? 😊

I don't think there would be a way to tell if someone legitimately lost the connection or just switched off their wifi, at least not a way that doesn't involve keyloggers/viruses.

I've had both things happen when i disconnect because my wifi is is spotty. gotten a leaver or just logged back in. It really seems to depend wheather you get kicked or if the game auto kicks you. If it auto kicks you you get the penaly, if a player kicks you you don't.

Well this "penalty" is weird. Sometimes i got penalty while i'am dced, sometimes not. For sure, people who wants to avoid penalty can use vip teleport to another zone and continue to play 'till they're kicke. And all this is just, well...

In my opinion, disconnects aren't a problem.
    These are the actual problems:
    1. stupid "gather party" thing doesn't ignore offline members (poor programming or just poor design, whatever the reason)
    2. we can't kick disconnected players (I don't get this at all, why would I want to force the whole party to waste their time for like 15-20 mins in case I lose connection? let them kick me if I'm not back in 2 mins, moreover I should be automatically replaced with another random member if it's a random queue)
