Okay...
So I can no longer access Neverwinter Online using my 2011 HP Pavilion dv7 laptop that happily runs Windows 11 (unsupported install) because my hardware "is no longer supported" by Neverwinter Online. However, I am now dual-booting with Linux Mint running the Linux version of Steam, and Neverwinter Online not only successfully installed but is happily running on the very same "unsupported hardware." How is this possible?
I find it odd that your game refuses to install and run on Windows for hardware reasons, but installs and runs on Linux. Are these claims of "unsupported hardware" true or false?
I dislike corporate dishonesty. I dislike e-waste even more. But I really dislike being forced into throwing out a perfectly functional computer and buy a new one just because Uncle Bill says, "You have to." Is this really an issue of old hardware or a sales pitch for forced new computer sales?
Some clarification please.
For once, just be honest.

It is like you need to be 18 to drink beer. Windows 11 says you are 10 years old and Mint says you are 30. It does not mean you are okay to drink beer. NWO just cannot figure out it is a fake id. 10 years old can drink beer too.
The similar situation where with win 10 when it where released. It took time to expand it's library for supported games..
But for now you can try run games via compatability mode..

This allow make windows 11 run app/game as older OS version.
