cmdlist does nothing?

When we type /cmdlist in chat word is that it "prints" a list of all the commands. Where does it 'print' them to? When I type that command it doesn't do anything at all. Has the command been disabled or do I need to have a console turned on or something to see where it displays them?

Make sure you have the right channel active on the tab you are viewing, IIRC it's "system" or some such. You can make sure by making a tab with all channels on.
