Mirage Clones

Deterministic testing of mirage clones.

This discussion is about clones for ranger and rogue, but most of it, i assume, holds true for any class.

Mirage clones works, or at least equivalently, like this:

They have:
150% power
90% Combat Advantage
90% Critical Severity

Base dmg is taken fram player's base dmg.

Magnitude on mirage ranger at-will is the same as for the player: 30 magnitude.

Magnitude on mirage rogue at-will is not the same as for the player, it is: 50 magnitude.

Magnitude is multiplied by 3x in most, if not all, queue's content; trails/dungeons etc. Hence u see mirage do worse than other weapons when you test in zones or training map, but in dungeon they outdamage any other weapon by far.

Clones scale neither with the players additive nor multiplicative -dmg bonuses.

(Bug) the clones get 3% dmg bonus when Minsc's "The Bigger They Are" is slotted, additive=multiplicative dmg bonus in this case since there are no other dmg bonuses affecting them.

Note: the claim that mirage is worse on mobs than on mobs holds no truth as far as i can see. The reason for this belief is that, i think, when players tests mirage, they test on mobs in zones and on bosses in queues.

On further testing conserning aggro, it looks like mirage clones has their own aggro bar, which gets transferred to the spawner the moment the clones despawn.

Here your see my companion Paranoid Delusion (looks like a 4th mirage clone) having aggro and getting hit by Zariel.

In the next video frame, my mirage clones despawns, in the picture you can see them fade away, and i got red aggro bar.

Also, the mirage clones does not benifit from the tank paragon feats that yields increased aggro.
