This quest in the cloaked ascendancy is obscene. You are to protect Morningdawn from waves of enemies whilst he performs his ritual, there's a similar quest in.. Neverdeath? that I believe was updated because it had the same issue, making it a much smoother qol ride.
The difficulty isn't in the fight, it's having to constantly fight wave after wave, probably near 20 waves due to the fact that each wave that spawns has enemies that instantly and at range target and interupt Morningdawn. It's near impossible to completely interupt them entirely before they interupt Mornigndawn.
This quest must be a nightmare for new or inexperienced players. I recall it being tedious on my own main when I went to re-play cloaked ascendancy but didn't think too much of it because I was concentrated on achievement completion, having done this on an alt, dear god.
