    rank 1 = 3 medallions
    rank 2 = 22 medallions

    Combat 1 = 6 medallions
    Combat 3 = 44 medallions
    Combat 4 = 63 medallions

the rank 1 costs 100,000 AD in Bradda the sage and coal molten costs 1000 zen in zen shop 1 ZEN equivalent 750 AD 1 medallion costs 40,000AD therefore:

    Coalescent Mote = 1000 Zen * 750AD = 750,000 AD / 40,000 = 18.75 medallions (19)

    Rank 1 costs = 100,000 / 40,000 = 2.5 medallions (3)
    Rank 2 costs = 100,000+750,000 = 850,000/40,000 = 21.25 medallions (22)

    Combat 1 costs = 250,000 / 40,000 = 6.25 (6) medallions
    Combat 3 costs = 250,000 + 750,000 + 750,000 =1,750,000 / 40,000 = 43.75 Medallions (44)
    Combat 4 costs = 250,000 + 750,000 + 750,000 + 750,000 = 2,500,000 / 40,000 = 62.5 medallions (63)

    your logic is flawed..
your are assuming people are paying full price of 1000 zen at the shop per coal/100% mote .. and not using coupons
and are not getting 25% discounts in the trading Bazar for upgrade consumables
also not buying zen in bulk discounts on sale with bonus zen
there are also % boost motes that drop as well that contribute to successes / and break streaks which are tracked per enchantment
aside from the fact that people may gamble on a fusion/upgrade without using 100% mote/coal and use pres wards instead
and get the upgrade cheaper by "luck"
and the free motes/wards/coals etc you get from simply opening the daily invoking boxes
there are also associated costs in gold and required refining materials which were not calculated ..

people dont "need" to and "must" upgrade everything to the new rank 5 epic enchants which would have been like rank 16-20 enchantments stat wise in the old system

The values are based on the ZEN and NPC market (Defined By The Company), for this reason discounts or drops it is not taken into account. A good reference is to convert the values of your items, for example:

vorpal before the update (7.1M) converting to medallions = 120 (4.8M) which allows you to buy 4 rank 1 (30 medallions each) or 2 rank 2 (60 medallions each) and at NPC Bradda the sage you buy 4 rank 1 for (400k) and even if you take into account the overpriced value of motes at AH you can buy 2 rank 1+ 2 mote using only (3.8M).

    PT-BR :

    ENG:
Welcome to the new MOD, you lost 1,100,000 AD by Enchantment Rank 15
    Orcarion has complete reason.
What the game did makes no sense, it caused the devaluation of the item that the player already had, and forced him to obtain a new currency (medallions), which they determined the mandatory use of.

    see with your own eyes...

    1 x rank15 = 20 medallions (Sarrah NPC)
1 medallion = 40.000 Astral Diamonds (Sarrah NPC)

    1 x Enchantment rank 1 choice Pack = 30 medallions
    30 medallions = 1.200.000 Astral diamonds
    (Sarrah NPC)

    1 x Any Enchantment rank 1 = 100.000 Astral Diamonds
    (Sage Shop NPC)

Well, around 48 min. into the stream it's being said to contact CS (Customer Support, through a ticket, right?) to get the problem with the 30k IL Character Boost and the old low ranking enchantments in it sorted out...

After my ticket was send to "the next tier" twice, a Senior GM is now telling me that the Devs have to come up with a solution for this problem...

    So, what is it now?

Edit: I got another reply on my ticket, and it looks like the Senior GM is above the Lead System Designer, might want to pass that along to Jared Sears, and tell him that the GMs know nothing about giving out any compensation for old enchantments in the 30k IL Character Boost. But there might be something "in the future", and i probably should just keep on buying stuff from the Item shop, even when there's ZERO ZIP ZILCH NADA Customer Support for any problems regarding purchases, right?!

    Ticket 676224 "solved" my youknowwhat!

No offense, but at this point i really hope that Gearbox will nuke the current "Customer Support" and build up something new instead.

Anyway, the 3x missing QM enchantments from the shared bank were turned into Medallions 11 days ago going by CS, still don't know which character got them, or how i could even verify that piece of information myself. We really need an option for reading game logs by ourselves somehow.

    "Hope over Experience"
they should really nail that one right next to the Service Alerts in the Support section...

Sadly disappointed in the whole trade in values and since I only had a few r15s and a few lower ranks r14s r13s r12s r11s r10s I feel I could only afford a couple of descent new enchatments and companion enchatment and 100000 AD for new rank 1s can you say 200000 for r2s 300090 for r3s 400000 for r4s and 500000 for r5s cause when in AH people asking 20-30 or more millions for r2s and up thought the whole enchantment change was to stop the rampant price gouging going on it seems to me it only made things worse for those on limited incomes as I am disabled and don't have the resources to be frivolous with my financial well-being and I know that there are other in the same situation I don't spend much on this game but I do keep my VIP up to date and occasionally buy from the Zen market when certain items catch my attention. Do you folks think we all have large amounts of disposable income low income people enjoy this game as much as those that can afford to spend large amounts .those big spender aren't your only demographics are they? If so that's a very narrow and shallow minded way if thinking cause there are more poor/low income people that play thus game than you think

Well. you can make your own R2 if AH price is too high for you. You don't have to buy it from AH.
You need one R1 + one c-mote + 3 GoP + some RP to make one R2. That would be around 2 millions based on the AH price of the material in PC. Not sure how one can charge (or one would buy) 20 million for a R2.

Why buy anything from the zen store at this point. Considering everything supposedly of value has been nerfed or trashed in the last three mods. Sales and paid right before the items are nullified.
10$ for an enchant that’s only good for appearance now.
At this point it’s a cluster of angry voices and the impression is, “ You don’t like it,don’t play”
    Sure
What happens when it’s just a few endgamers left and the flow of new players dries up, because it’s the mid level folks that broke by in new players and help them along.

Well, still waiting for an update here... how hard can it be to tell your CS team to actually compensate players for the purchase of a 30k IL Character Boost before the Mod. 22?

Well, funny how you can find the time for renaming old enchantments, but can't figure out a way for granting us a compensation for enchantments we paid real money for...

just logging back in after not playing for a couple of years. After reading this and seeing the state of my character might not be staying around long...

Well, you can still exchange your R9+ enchantments for medallions, and then get new enchantments for them,
    https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/11481153-bonding-runestones-&-companion-changes
but you won't be able to trade in any Bonding Runestones for Astral Diamonds, that option was removed a while ago, depending on how many you have of them and what Rank they have, you have missed out on receiving millions of AD for them...

No changes in the support department, keep that in mind in case you need any help from them.

Anyway, Neverember's Recruitment Event and the Sommer Festival are currently running, you can get some useful stuff from it, but it might take some serious grinding to get your character(s) back into shape.
