DC dps

with this new mod, will it be possible to balance it so that it can equate to other dps? too slow compared to other classes, even if it does a high damage and very slow in performing the skills, sometimes I don't even have time to use the skill, that the enemy is already dead ... I have 60k cleric and it is set to the best I'm not a rookie

    IMO the following changes would be useful for AOE

    Searing Javelin - Remove the need for a target. This stops it firing in useless directions for an AOE attack because the target moved and stops it from failing to cast because the target died.

    Daunting Light - Make the spell hit quickly like other powers and increase its radius to match what other classes have (or like Chains is) The limitations of slow attack and small size were put in because at the start of the game in 2013, it had roughly the same damage as Lashing Blade, but was AOE. Now it doesn't hit like that... but it frequently doesn't hit at all. Replace Lightspeed with a feat that does something else, possibly removing knockback on Sunburst, as Asterdahl teased us with in mod 16 Preview then took away. Or come up with another feat and remove the knockback entirely so it stops being a troll power.

    Add damage back to Chains of Blazing Light so there is a reason to slot it, while you're at it.

    cleric does decent dmg but it has some issues with their powers, and a bad forte doesn't help much

    Daunting Light with Focused Light (the only thing that takes the power out of F tier) is also inconsitent on what mobs it can hit and what mobs are immune to it, mimics in lomm or whisps from barovia for example.

    DC dailies are also pretty bad, Guardian of faith (the first one you unlock!) is probably the best one, the rest take too long and limit your rotations or are only able to come to full effect by the time the rest of your party killed everything already.

    There are also some very bad encoutners, Geas is a worse Break the Spirit, Bastion of Health is useless on dps, Devine Glow is never necessary and Chains of Blazing light has a way too long cd, does no dmg and struggles to hold targets for a full second.

    I have limited experience with playing other classes but cleric might be the one with the most completely redundant powers.
