OUTDATED: Companion Enhancements are Trash

Companion Enhancement (Mythic) gives only 7.5k * 3 = 22.5k Ratings at 5k IL. It should give 5k * 15 = 75k Ratings based on the formula followed by ALL Gear and Enchantments in the game. It only gives Ratings, so why doesn't it have any Combined Rating whatsoever! It is giving less than 50% of the Ratings it should be giving- a massive nerf compared to Runestones!

According to what was said, it isn't intended for any class to be able to cap multiple stats while maintaining a higher than average spread across all others. Sacrifices must be made if you wish to do so.

For DPS, that means low survivability.
For Tanks that means low offensive output.
For Healers.. well actually it really doesn't change much since they have very few stats they need to cap.

That being said, none of the enchants are even close to being downgrades (outside of Combat but that's a separate thing) especially at Mythic. The overall Combined rating may take a hit from the drastically increased iLvL but the individual stat contributions are also vastly increased.

On top of that, Mount Collars now give Combined rating at 50% iLvL for all the combat related and 100% iLvL for the Utility ones.

That's 1800 alone at Epic for a full set.

Pay attention to what I wrote, individual contributions are actually lower than what they should be at Mythic based on the Item Level formula. It's almost like you didn't even read my post- I was firstly referring to Companion Enhancements and not Combat Enchantments, and I did not even talk about Mount Collars. Are you sure you are responding to me and not some other post?

Not sure how you saw 5K IL from Mythic companion enhancement. Mine (from the tooltip of the enchantment) shows 1500 IL.
    7500 x 3 / 15 = 1500.

As far as I can tell, the numbers match.

Item level is calculated from total stat with the formula like:

    (total stat + (combined rating x 15)) / 15

in this case the combined rating is 0.

The Companion is 1500 yeah. It's the Combat that is 5(6?)k at Mythic.

IIRC it's 5k so that's 6.5k unaccounted for across all the stats.

But the primary stats given in Offense/Defense are much higher so whatever you ficus on capping, will cap and every non-Tank can just stack Defense for the general DR so overall it might actually result in a higher focused defensive rating.

My Rogue on Preview lost ~5% from every stat but Defense ended up higher and my Power, Crit and CriySev are pretty much capped.

But OP talked about companion enchantment (in the title and the first 2 words in his first post).

My apologies @tgwolf and @plasticbat - you guys are absolutely right. I don't know why I thought the Companion Enhancement was 5k Item Level. The stat distribution is correct, and there is no need for a Combined Rating. I have edited the post title to reflect this fact.
