I suspect there will be a dead period for PVP matches lasting a few weeks after mod 22's launch, people need to get used to new stuff and tend not to que up when they are still figuring out build changes.
We can expect stats on PVP builds to be much harder to cap because item level can go up a lot higher than before. Exactly what the new best in slot item level goals will be isn't clear yet. It could be you just want to pump up your item level really high now and people might not try to maintain both high stats & a high item level at the same time anymore. It is also possible companion item level and other empty item level sources that don't grant any stats will no longer be worth running at all.
Probably players will only use the new defensive combat enchantments, the offensive combat enchantments appear to be trash at the moment.
Crowd control effects will become more annoying in mod 22 because elven battle enchantment no longer exists.
Its possible the changes to enchantments will result in a meta shift when it comes to player tankyness and player damage output.
All of the above is just my guess, none of that is set in stone.
