Would it be a good idea to add green/blue insignias to demonic HE rewards?

Demonic HEs have been around for a while, and when they first came out, farming them was profitable for any number of reasons. Now with the latest changes, these are useful for a few quests, but tend to be much less rewarding. 9 Adventure tokens for a successful gold HE is not really much of a reward.

So I ask, what would happen to the game if the developers added a green insignia for a bronze reward, two greens for a silver, and a blue for a gold reward with two green thrown in for the bonus HE? To obtain a mythic insignia, you need 2500 points to go from legendary to mythic, and 500 to get to legendary from epic. That would be 300 gold HE for a single insignia, and 4500 for all of them for one character.

Is that too much of a reward--should it just be 1,2,3 green for the bronze, silver, and gold HE? Or would any type of farming insignias break the current gameplay experience?

I've thought for a while Demonics should just hand-out some insignia powder, why not.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

I guess that is essentially the question--why not?

Looking at the top five methods to obtain insignias, (Farming dungeons for either their skill nodes or their campaign chests, farming skill nodes in zones, killing mobs, purchasing with Zen a chance for a mythic insignia, and finally using trade bars to purchase epic insignias), four of them require a large amount of RNG. Only the trade bars are a direct purchase, and even these still require some RNG, since you can get 25-1,000 trade bars with a lockbox key.

The final method is to use challenge event tokens to purchase legendary insignias--no RNG there. That usually requires 14+days to acquire 2 or three legendary insignias--which amounts to ~500-750 insignia powder. Since we have roughly four or five events a year, this would amount to enough powder to manufacture a mythic insignia by playing 60+ days worth of events.

If we add farming HEs to the mix, with a guarantee to obtain some amount of powder, say a green insignia worth 2 "points", it would require 1,250 HE's to make a mythic insignia (from a legendary). If we assume an average of three minutes per HE (might be a bit low), that would be a little over 60 hours of play. This method would probably be a little more time consuming than the event method, but would be much less reliant upon RNG than the other methods.

It seems, at first glance anyway, that adding powder or green insignias to the HE rewards would not break the system. It just provides a way to "work for it directly" rather than RNG.

    Sooooooo. . . why not?
