Fishing broken in SoMI

Since the 19th of October fishing in the sea of moving ice has been broken for me. I can cast my line out and start the reel in but the arrow buttons are not lighting up, for me to actually catch the fish.
I emailed support about it on the 20th of October, got a reply saying that I'm not the only one having issues and that they'd look into it but I've had no updates as of 28/10 and fishing is still broken.

Buttons now more consistently light up when appropriate.
So, maybe next week for consoles.
