Harvester of Nightmares: Inception Quest Disappears on Completion

Unlike at the start of the event, I can no longer complete both the Haunting Harvester (Daily) and Inception quests simultaneously.

Steps:
1) Have Inception quest available in my Journal
2) Accept Haunting Harvester (Daily) quest
3) Confirm both quests still show in my journal
4) Queue and complete Harvester of Nightmares Challenge
5) Check Journal again before turning in any quests

Observed Result:
Haunting Harvester (Daily) is flagged as complete but Inception quest is no longer listed at all.

Expected Result:
Both quests should be flagged as complete and available to be turned in.

Additional notes:
Not sure exactly when this started, but I think it was just after I received my token of Achievement for the current running of the event, though it may have been when the last patch was uploaded. For about the first two weeks of the event you could complete both quests simultaneously.

I have a similar issue, where I no longer have the daily quest available to me at all. Cannot accept it, cannot turn it in. Only have the Inception quest, and I don't know if I'm getting credit towards the Token of Achievement, as I'm only wanting the mount for the event questline. Wish I could hear back on this, as it's super frustrating.

Is this a normal behavior now ?
I've always been able to complete both quests in one run till the last event, but now, I can't get both quests at the same time.
If I have inception already in my list, it disappears as soon as I get the the daily one.

Its normal, if you read the daily quest when picking it up it states it will remove the inception quest.

I would consider they fixed a loophole I have been using all along. The original goal probably expects you run it twice per day instead of run it once to complete both.
