Doing a random completes both quests from the cleric each day, 30 dungeon shards, or 300 guild marks per toon per day. More if you wait until x2 guild marks. Many guilds are capped, but can free up resources by tearing out one of the support structures(animal pen, or 1 of the others), and then rebuild smelter yard to lvl 1, it takes gems, surplus equip, and dungeon shards, and can be rebuilt each day.

The easier way is to dump it to a dummy guild in an alliance and the dummy guild is replaced when it is filled.

Why not just rip out a support to the farm, quarry, etc, when they are already capped. What difference is it if it generates 4800 per 8 hours, vs 15k every 8 hours, if the food and such are capped? Pretty easy to rip a building out and rebuild one at lvl 1. Dummy guilds have a small coffer. Guess it's upto each guild to decide. But clearing 500k gems and surplus a week, and keeping dungeon shards from capping, is easy to do for a maxed guild.

Wouldn't it be better to have at least one place in a capped alliance reserved for a smaller guild who's growing? Make an agreement that they have a sort of honorary impermanent spot where once they've stopped growing they'll be removed and another struggling guild will take their place.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

That usually works at low lvls, and the small guild has a very limited coffer size. Once you get to lvl 4, or lvl 8, those guilds usually stop growing, and their coffer maxes too. It's been tried. Easier to make a mysterious merchant every week, and a smelter yard to lvl 1 everyday and open up everything except profession supplies.
