Can't remove mail icon.

Hi, despite having an empty mailbox I am stuck with the mail icon on screen. It's the same for both of my characters.

To re-type previous posts:

* go to a mail box (an actual one, not a vip pop-up)
* create a new mail addressed to yourself and include an item (e.g. a potion) and send
* wait a while - like 10 seconds or so
* open mail, take item & delete that mail

The icon should have disappeared.

If it's still there, do it again but wait longer before retrieving.

Do the above except (after A LOT testing) rather than "wait a while" if you zone out and zone in then open and delete mail it will remove the icon 100% of the time.

* open mail, take item & delete that mail

Thank you guys. I can confirm it works! I also had to zone out to get it to work.

You can also mail yourself nothing, but dont use any mailbox. Then quickly reply to that mail over and over till a 2nd one pops up. Wait 10 or so seconds before viewing and deleting both.

Isnt this a fun little mini-game? 🤣🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the reports and sharing the workarounds! I have a fix working locally and if all goes well it should make its way into a future patch.

Thank you for looking into this. While working on icons can you figure out how to get rid of the campaign icon? It was for whatever campaigns you haven't started on new characters which right now is only the PVP campaign for my one toon and I don't really play PVP so it will never go away unless the bug is fixed.
