Rapier Appearance Preview?

Has anyone found a way to do this? The "combat animation" option shows the lute, and the rapier is sheathed and very difficult to see.

I haven't found a way and it is a pain to check transmutes - zooming in and trying to get an idea of how it looks isn't very accurate. This affects the ranger too as the only other class that jumps between 2 sets of weapons.
