Maze Engine Chapter 2 won't complete

Done this quest 3 times now on my new bard. I kill everything, but at the end there is an invisible barrier blocking me from reaching Lucas Shaneway. Since I can't talk to him, the quest can't be completed.

It used to be you had to jump because floor is uneven where you meet Lucas, maybe try that.

Been like this for years. Only way through is to push forward, spamming the jump while moving the cursor side to side, Eventually you find a gap and get through.

That worked. Thank you aurumreclusa and pitshade for the tip. Weird thing is, I've taken 6 other characters through the whole quest line with no problem. Very frustrating to run it 4 times to finish, at least it's a fast run.

I went there not too long ago (and in mod 21). I ran straight to him, yes, there was something blocking it.
What I did was: go to his left side around the barrier and then reached him.
Or, I was lucky and somehow hit the gap.
