feedback and question about bard

This is just depending n whether or not im missing something, but is it possible for bard to stay in performance mode? I think it should stay in performance mode until u run out of meter, cancel it with tab or dodge away. I chose to play minstrel (coz of the larger performance pool and rather go support with bard and i mean...its a bard) Id really much like to play songs until i need to leave mode to refill it
