Crafting fireblossom petals in the workshop during height of summer went back to 5 from 10

Yesterday was the first day of the height of summer and I noticed that the amount of petals that were awarded for crafting was doubled from 5 to ten which seems consistent with the explanation of the event. Today when I went to pick up the petals I'd crafted overnight after the increase I noticed that the reward is back to 5 petals. I had intended to explore the idea of purchasing moral with AD to craft them to make sure I got enough to buy the companion, which by the way and IMHO might be a good way to get rid of excess AD in the game. Anyway if you could gitter fixed I'd be much appreciative. Thanks

    ok this is very odd but I am able to get the full ten petal reward on a second character, I know I had picked up on the one I originally posted about before leaving the game yesterday because he's my master crafter and has more slots in the workshop chest also, today I spent moral and tested the reward and only received 5 petals in my box and in my inventory ( I checked ) so I'm not sure why I get 5 on one toon and 10 on the other.

    I don't know if this is what happened to you. If the crafting task (with no limit) was started before Thursday, it will stay giving you 5 until you cancel it and restart again. If you apply moral on the running task (started before Thursday), it will only give you 5.

    I think you are right about this at least partially, I did a quick emptying of my chest on the first night because i'd noticed the change and wanted to get a nice full chest of the better reward the next day, I didn't cancel the task only collected the chest. The next day I went to the chest and they were all the lower reward :( I did cancel it at this point to test it using Moral and still got lesser reward I crafted sailcloth and made saha ball (not doable with the continued crafting of petals going) then I used up the rest of my moral crafting petals and then set the petal crafting to continuous. Third day was still giving lesser rewards in chest I showed it to a buddy in livestream on discord. Somehow I was able to get it switched to the higher reward not sure exactly how.
