Campaign icon keeps glowing in new characters

I saw the issue of the icon for adventure/campaign completion (2nd from right) glowing in the general bug thread after module 21. It was suggested to finish the first step of Tyranny of Dragons to switch it off.
Now, I have 2 new bards, one finished that task the other didn't. There is no green trophy beside any campaign or adventure and no reward, I didn't pick up. I finished all tasks for older campaigns from older chars, even opened the tarokka card deck and followed the green box guide through to the end... in both chars the campaign completion icon keeps glowing.
Does anybody experience the same? Any work around for this? Thank you!
