Really overzealous notification

After update to mod 21 i have issue with new mail alert.. all the time.. help



my mailbox is empty of course

Have you tried sending yourself a mail, reading it, and deleting it?

I tried that and it didn't work for me =(

Try:
open a physical mailbox or VIP mailbox.
Send yourself an email.
Close the mail windows. <--- important
Wait for few seconds.
open a physical mail box or VIP mailbox.
click on that new email
