Pally Tank - Can't scroll when dying while blocking

So this issue has been in the game for some time but hasn't been addressed.

As a paladin Justicar, if you die while holding up your shield (left stick pressed down/sprint button), you won't be able to use your scrolls to revive yourself and must be picked up by a party member or release.

Now I've tried it solo in just a regular zone area and I can scroll just fine (was testing in Avernous).

It seems to be linked to either dungeons and trials, or in groups specifically. It happens in a variety of dungeons, including VOS, for recreation purposes incase it needs more looking into.

This would be greatly appreciated by us Pally Tanks if this was finally fixed.

1) Log into a level 80 Justicar Paladin
2) Que for and enter a dungeon with a group or public random que
3) Die while shielding and try to use your scrolls to revive (usually happens during boss fights for me)

Intended outcome: Scrolls should be usable and you revive yourself

Actual Outcome: Scrolls unclickable, and must be picked up by group member or release.

Same thing happens to me. Clicking on scrolls if u died while blocking have no effect.

Neither can the fighter.
Shield up at death means no scrolls.
Been asked to fix this bug for a while.
They fixed piñatas right quick, but this we are still waiting.
Is what it is.

Same thing for barb tanks too. It’s not just a specific class. It’s tanks in general, if you go down while blocking then you cannot use either kind of scroll to resurrect. Been like this for a long time now. Not sure if it’s a bug or working as intended. I’m leaning toward it being a bug. Imagine if dps classes couldn’t scroll if they died mid animation of a skill, you’d never hear the end of this. Don’t hear about this much because tanks are an endangered species these days. Far and few left to complain about bugs.
