I am not sure if you are aware of this. The Prince of Frost and the gloaming court golem have cleave mechanics that show an initial red area then will move. Sometimes slightly and other time 90° or greater. Other times it doesn't move at all, which I believe is the intended mechanic.
The group composition does not seem to make a difference when the bug occurs. It tends to occur more often when the boss is not beaten on the first try, but does occasionally occur on the first try as well.
The Prince of frost tends to not drop any items if not beaten on the first try. The gloaming court golem items tend to drop for only 1 player. The other 4 do not see the items on the ground. They also do not get a chance to need/greed or given the item if the 1 player that sees them picks it up. We have tried being in a group before joining the queue group and running. Occasionally that may work, but it might just be random chance.
Are these bugs known and are they being worked on?
