@noworries#8859 I have tested the different armor enchantments that deal damage to foes with the following results :
Conclusion :
Fireburst has far superior damage dealt/min compared to the other three AND provides a nice boost to damage resistance. Best in slot for Fighter/Barbarian tanks.
Loamweave deals very low damage compared to Fireburst. Has root effect vs 1 target.
Thunderhead deals extremely low damage. Has AoE stun effect not mentioned in tooltip. The AoE stun limits the damage dealt, as the critters that are supposed to get hurt when they hit you can't hit you when they are stunned. Should have magnitude adjusted to compensate for this.
Briartwine deals X% of POST-MITIGATED damage back to attacker, making it 100% useless compared to all other alternatives.

At the time I was only concerned with having something different because the only damage type armor ones I had only delt zero damage amounts and some of what I got replaced the Loamweave rank 7s (5 alts; beginning enchantment for all toons as it came with one of the race purchases I wanted when I first started playing).
After taking the time to make and purchase all those other armor enchcantments I am now Loamweave free.
> I expect to see a rush on fireburst now lol
You are of course correct, this is just marketing from the AH sharks 😂
If we're starting a pool, I'll guess a week from next Tuesday.
