This weekend since Friday night, l have ran several players to Sharandar. It is not that hard, but if you are having issues, PM me in game or send a mail as to when you want a run.
Tonight a player was asking about this and said they could not do it alone. After I offered service, they insulted my build and continued to complain. "I shouldn't need a support group." Was their response. Ok then do it yourself, I have 6 out out of 8 up in Sharandar. I did 2 solo and the rest I have been assisting others.
Where does it read, you don't need a support group in an online multiplayer game? I am done and heading to bed.
Take care!

If they can't handle themselves somewhere, they should stay where they can.
Not everything is for everyone.
It's also a bit strange that i'm having a more "challenging" time playing through this on characters that are close to 40k IL, then with others that are closer to 30k IL...
Anyway, probably going to run a few more of my characters through it on my own, to get comfortable with it, then ask others if they want to join. I mean, why not?
What's the point of that?
You encouraging people to reaching the most difficult content disregarding the correct order.
As a result, you creating an army of claiming, worthless players who simply demanding to be carried by others because "they deserve it".
If I can't handle something on my own, I improving my character, working on it, trying different build combinations until I make it. I'm not waiting for someone to carry me. . .
I didn't make the rules, but everyone who is level 80 gets to keep the 40K item level who finishes this introduction quest before March 2nd. This is a "time gated" event reward and I will not just take an idle stance while players are making a serious effort. After that date, I have no way to assist others, they will be locked out until they meet both level 80 and the 40K item level.
Not one of my characters is 40K or better. I now have all of mine in Sharanadar, I will pop online daily to check mail for anyone in need of assistance until the March deadline.
I'm not looking for friends in game.
I have a question for you, though.
This is not a cynical point of view, but real curiosity.
Why do you want to go there if you can't do anything by yourself?
I don't really know what do you mean, because new sharandar content doesn't require testing, just min. skills and 40k TIL
This has been Cryptic's issues with forcing people to play together to finish dungeons. People should want and need to be in a party without forced ques. If they started back 7 years ago thinking about it, the game never would have degraded into a mess of elitist supermen that have the power to run anything by themselves. No matter how "good you get" no one should be able to walk back into an old dungeon and just cake walk across the old boss.
At this point, I had my say. You know where I stand and I refuse to feed trolls.
Have a nice day!
If the preview was doing the job properly the devs wouldn't be using the live players as test monkeys to find out where there are problems.
I already have the 40kil but if i was a lower level I would be very appreciative of this. Nobody is forcing you to help others through the intro quest.
There is a mix of content for all play styles and some areas such as lairs are intended to be solo content. I personally focus on content from 1 mod ago and it is all easily soloable as it should be, its old and most of the novelty has worn off so you're on your own for most of it.
dungeons/trials/skirmishes are intended to be multiplayer and did need the rework to keep dps from flying out in front of the tank and healer.
I don't agree with the IL lockout for overworld areas though. if lower IL people want to try it tell them the risks and let them try it. If they die they knew the risks on entry.
The theory going around for the IL lockout is that it is all down to $$$ cryptic wants players to throw money into their toons to access the areas.

A good game (and a good fun) is not about doing HAMSTER-quests in a five-man party. Players can get together for dungs, not for doing campaign quests, because this is SOLO content. As for the difficulty of completing the old dungeons. It's really hard to expect from someone that he will still have fun with same boss as he did 7 years ago on same difficulty level as he did at the beginning of the game ( and with the same worthless rewards). That's the in game progress. As you get stronger, your character is able to do more and more difficult content, while HAMSTER-dungeons with HAMSTER rewards should be done solo with left hand. Those you call "elitist supermen" are actually normal players who has developed over several years.
Don't feed the trolls But also don't bring them to the new sharandar.

We're a test server for the console, it has been that way for years. However, nothing prevents us from testing our own builds and capabilities. It's not broken.
People who play competitive games like Fortnite, League of Legends 2, and DOTA seem to think this game should work like those. You are not here to get better, improve your gear, become more powerful, all those can be done by just paying Cryptic their money and then steamrollering the content. These are games where your "friends" and "team" are unimportant.
I don't play this often, but I do appreciate the help others like Mrs. Black has shown. In the past, she has given complete strangers Epic mounts and companions for no reason. I received a Hellfire Engine as a gift once. She has a good heart and has been a real boon to being in this game for those who know her or just meet her in passing.
Thank you Wendy very much for everything you do!
Just killing time...
Bonus tip for the Feywild Crossing weekly version: Fighting the five oni's with Xuna makes it super exciting, as she will wake all of them up at the same time. Avoid that if that sounds bad to you to take em out one at a time, but getting them all awake and in giant form simultaneously in the tiny space available makes for a great fight.
