As the dust settles on the changes what are the new 'preferred' races for roles?

Pretty much the standard answer before was metallic dragonborn' for everything - with perhaps a late case for aasimar. But what now?

I'm particularly thinking ranged dps - is it wood elf for +5% crit? Gith for +5% CA? Or Tiefling for +5% <50% health?

There depend on your class is that you will make that choice. I chose Gith because my main class is a Barbarian that only has a heave of Critical Severity and from what I read the synergy between Combat Advantage remains active which makes it in general BIS for any class. But there are quirks like ranger warden where in this parogorn you trade 5% critical chance for 10% critical severity, then the obvious choice would be Wood Elf.

I chose Gith on my SW because I struggled to reach CA cap. I also chose Gith on my TR, turns out another choice might have been better because it was much easier to reach my CA cap on TR.

Trying to figure out how to crunch numbers for Cleric dps - 5% crit vs 5% damage at <50% health.....

Leaning towards the former.
