Possible Augment companion bug ?

For about the last week everytime i have one of my augment companions summoned my character will briefly hold up their weapon , as if there are enemies nearby.
It doesn't happen with the other types of companions so i thought that maybe it was due to the gear i have equipped, even though I've had them for some time now, so i removed everything including artifacts and it still happens with an augment companion.
So after removing everything and testing all companions there has to be something going on with the augment comps as i can't figure out what else it could be.
