Search tool for inventory

Is there any chance that a search tool or interface could be added to your bags/inventory slots? I spend so much time in the game searching for items in my bags or bank slots. Sort helps somewhat but a quick search icon would be really handy. You hav3 this ability in place in crafting why not in inventory?
